Recorded in Havana, Cuba only 48 hours after the announcement by President Obama of his plan to normalize relations between the US and Cuba, the album’s release is only a week after the raising of the American flag in Cuba, attended by Arturo O’Farrill himself. Nettwork Trio will be performing this Thursday (8/13)-Sunday (8/16) at the Iridium in NYC. Nettwork is Moffett’s latest project that ties all of his musical concepts together and consists of lifelong friends who are masters on their instruments. The trio features Charnett Moffett (Bass) Stanley Jordan (Guitar), and Jeff “Tain” Watts (Drums).
