An enchanting solo version of “Over the Rainbow”, performed by singer/songwriter Jana Herzen and produced by jazz veteran Charnett Moffett. The recording includes the seldom sung introduction that begins with the lyrics "When all the world's in a hopeless jumble..," and is intended as an elixir for our times. Herzen comments "Given the state of the world, Charnett and I felt this would be a healing vibration to share at this time. Interestingly, the studio session had a kind of mystical dimension as layers of spiritual meanings in the song that I’d never noticed before kept emerging as I sang." Moffett comments: “The track exemplifies the sensitivity and artistry of Herzen's angelic voice.” The track is also the first single from a two-volume Moffett and Herzen duo project that is coming soon.
