Murray, Allen & Carrington Power Trio released a new video of the song “Perfection” from their album dedicated to Ornette Coleman, which came out last Friday (April 15th). This in-studio performance was filmed during the album recording and features David Murray (tenor saxophone), Geri Allen (piano), and Terri Lyne Carrington (drums) with special guests Charnett Moffett (acoustic bass) and Craig Harris (trombone). Nate Chinen of the New York Times reviewed the debut album, Perfection by Murray, Allen & Carrington Power Trio (out Friday, 4/15).
